They did indeed. I was glad to get them off my counters and into jars that will last longer (the fruit flies were beginning to circle). Robert and I also recently made pickles (not from my garden, rather I splurged at the Farmer's Market). They sat out on the counter to ferment for a week and I just tasted one -- passable for a kosher dill pickle! I would tweak the recipe for next time, but I will also scarf these down.

Thank goodness you only have a small garden - you could have really hurt yourself with this canning thing. But aren't those jars beautiful!
