Robert and I quit our jobs in 2010 to spend a year traveling. We started this blog as our journal and assurance to our families that we were alive and well, albeit far, far away. Now we live in Seattle, WA where I am a graduate student at the University of Washington and Robert works rotationally for Halliburton on the North Slope of Alaska. We are continuing the blog to document our adventures in the kitchen and beyond.
