Quick Update

Pretzels for Octoberfest Party with Ben's Sailing Club Peeps

More appetizing picture of the pretzels

One morning Robert and I decided to make crepes (here is one with mozzarella)

It got a little crazy and no I am not talking about the ugly grey sweatpants. (Crazy thanks to Gord, who may not know it, but from whom I stole the best invention ever -- a crepe magician!!! ((the pan)))

This is the intersection by our house. I include it because I love that the slogan of the neighborhood is "the peaceable kingdom." The library near us has similar statues of animals - I think the wolf is nuzzling a sheep.

And then there was Halloween. (10 million dollars goes to the person who can correctly identify all costumes in this picture)

It's so exciting to see a new post from you...The pretzels look amazing. How did they taste??? I think I used Halloween to eat way too many sweets, so the salt on those pretzels looks yummy wonderful.

One of my favorite moments in all of Europe was the night one of the french ladies invited us for a crepe party - think fondue style party but the little griddle had 6 places for 6 people's mini-crepes. We didn't have to make our crepes fly like you, but we did get to fill them with savory and then sweets for the party. My favorite was nutella and banana; try it!

Ben is some sort of bandit; you and Robert are dead gypsies???

Missing you and can't wait to see you in March.

You should let me know how the science part of this grad school event is going. I'm curious....I'm wondering if I could ever do it....doubt it!

Wow, the pretzels look sooooo good! And the three costumes? Well, they are just beyond description - in fact, who are you supposed to be? I see sheriff, gypsy, and zombie.
