UC-Irvine and Robert's Plans

It will be a busy month when I get home. The University of California
at Irvine has invited me to their interview weekend as well. It is a
miracle that the dates don't conflict. I will have two days at home,
fly to Seattle for an interview, hang with Ben for a week, fly to
Irvine and back to Seattle, hang with Ben for a week, fly to Portland
to interview and back to Seattle to interview, and then and only then,
fly home to wait.

Robert's plans thus far are tentative. He has ten days after I leave
until his Vietnam visa expires, which he might use to go up to Dalat
or do something in the Mekong Delta. Then he will cross into Cambodia
and visit Phnom Penh, Angkor Wat (Siam Reap) and Kampot. Then he will
cross into Thailand and wind his way down the peninsula, through
Malaysia and into Singapore, just in time for his Feb 22 departure.

Congratulations! It is amazing that none of the interviews conflict.

I am so glad this is working out for you. It looks like the West Coast has your name on it!
