Chiang Mai: we didn't order this...or maybe we did
It is always challenging when trying to order in Thai. I never know when to agree or disagree when they ask me a clarifying question in Thai. This time I nodded yes, perhaps to the question, "You want your greens on ice?!"
They sort of looked at us as if we had ordered iced lettuce. I'm impressed they served it to us actually. I don't think that would happen in the states.

I can't imagine why this would even be an option. It just doesn't look very appetizing.
They are just trying you out to see what you know and surprise, surprise not much. They could be helpful instead of getting one up on a tourist.
