OSC: After dark there is a "Light and Sound Presentation." We didn't pay the 500B to get a seat, but we watched from nearby.

We might get tickets for the Sunday show, but it was all in Thai and
about the history of Sukhothai, so maybe watching from nearby was
adequate...

This is the best shot I got without a tripod. Why don't I have a
tripod? Why don't I know how to use a camera better??

Ok, here is my favorite tripod in a pinch trick. Get a length of string and tie a washer to it (or something sturdy and flat). Attach the other end of the string to a screw and screw it into where the tripod would attach to the camera. Next, when you want to take a picture, stand on the washer and pull up on the camera (string should be shorter than your height). This will pull the string taut and give you a decent makeshift tripod, plus it is really small to carry. I should have given you mine before you left, but it will be an adventure to try to make one.
